GP/GP Practices

No, unfortunately we will not be able to deliver to home addresses. Prescription pads need to be ordered to the GP practice, and arrangements made with the practice to get the pads to GP’s working from home.

Your medical records can only be delivered to your registered main practice. The current NHAIS Exeter system identifies main practices and their branches under the same practice code and therefore, records can only be delivered to the main site.

If you should need to close your practice temporarily as a precaution against the spread of Coronavirus, PCSE can support you. For example, we can manage the movement of your patient records and postpone deliveries of supplies. In the first instance, get in touch with your CCG to discuss options, and our supplies team will be happy to discuss possible actions.

PCSE will continue to work with NHS England to do everything we can to ensure practices are supported. These services will be prioritised:

  • making the monthly contractual payments to practices
  • delivering supplies orders such as needles, syringes, prescriptions and other essential NHS forms
  • processing patient registrations to ensure continued patient care
  • ensuring that GPs are on the Performers List and able to provide services to the NHS – including working with NHS England to support any emergency measures to return GPs to frontline services
