All applications to join the Performers List for England and supporting documentation are made through PCSE Online.
Health Education England (HEE) deal with all PLVE applicants, and you can should visit the main HEE website or from the HEE regional team where you wish to apply to join the PLVE scheme for information. Click on the relevant link.
Currently, applicants who have a minimum of 3 months experience in the full scope of practice as a dentist, within the last 2 years, can be progressed into PLVE, applications outside of this are not being accepted by NHSE.

This should be a copy of your current Passport, or where you do not have a passport an acceptable form of photographic ID as defined on the Disclosure and Barring Service website (eg current Driving Licence Photocard [full or provisional] – UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or EU).
From 2019, all new applicants to the dental Performers List must include with their application an occupational health certificate from a Safe, Effective, Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) accredited provider or an NHS occupational provider.

Applicants from Scotland and Wales must also ensure that their occupational health certificates comply with these requirements.

File size is restricted to no more than 4MB per file. Please note that if you are trying to upload 5 documents in the certificates page, the size of all these five documents should not be greater than 4 MB per request.
PCSE Online permits the following file types to be uploaded:
Image file types
.jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .tif, .bmp, .img, .png, .svg
MS Word Document types
.doc, .docb, .docm, .docx, .dot, .dotx, .pdf, .txt
MS Excel Document types
.csv, .xls, .xlsx .
You can track the status of any application or change request status on the home screen of PCSE Online.
When the status of your application or change request is updated, you will receive an email notification signposting you to PCSE Online for further information.
PCSE Online is designed to be user-friendly. However, if you need additional support, visit the Performers Lists page for your profession and download the appropriate user guide.
