GSUM payments

Statements not showing correct GSUM - click here

Audience: Targeted GP Practices (53)

Date: 09 July 2021

Summary: Your GSUM payment for July-September will show in two locations. The majority will show under the main GSUM heading and the remaining amount under the adjustment heading, but showing as a GSUM code. Your payment is not affected. The team are working to resolve the issue.

Audience: GP Practices

Date: 08 July 2021

Summary: From July 2021, your GSUM payment will be calculated via a different data source, the Personal Demographics Service (PDS) component of the central NHS Spine. The Capitation data (patient list sizes) moves from NHAIS to PDS and is one of the main inputs for GSUM payment you receive. We have been running GSUM calculations for the past 18 months using data from both sources in our test systems to ensure results are consistent and correct.

Audience: Targeted GPs and their GP Practices

Dates: 29 and 30 July 2021

Summary: We have identified an error which means some GPs had duplicate pensions payments taken in June. To rectify the issue, GPs are either being refunded in August or no pension deduction will be taken in July. We have notified GPs individually and also their practices. 

 

Missed GP Pension Contributions

Audience: Targeted Pension Scheme Members

Date: 17 September 2021

Summary: Additional clarification and reassurance about the process to be taken following a small number of GP practices where pension contributions have not been deducted from the practice payment since Tuesday 1 June 2021. Contributions will be deducted in September, where there are sufficient funds available.

Date: 17 September 2021

Summary: Pension scheme numbers (SD numbers) were missing for some pension scheme members in the legacy system and was therefore not migrated with the rest of the information to the GP Payments and Pensions service. We now have the relevant SD numbers, and have resolved the issue. Contributions will be deducted in September, where there are sufficient funds available to do so.

Summary: We are aware some practices have not had pensions contributions deducted for all of their GP Performers in their June statement. We are investigating the issue and the team is working to resolve this quickly for those who are affected. 

 

QOF Overpayments

Important Update - QOF Aspiration payment issue - click here

Summary: You have received an overpayment of your QOF Aspiration payment in your June statement, caused by an issue during the migration from the old system to the new. Following discussions with your Commissioner, the issue will be rectified in your August pay run.

Summary: You have received an duplicate payment of your QOF Achievement payment in your June statement, this issue will be rectified in your July pay run.

LMC Levy Payments not deducted

Summary: Levy deductions for practices within your area for June were not collected - this relates only to PMS or GMS practices. June's deductions will be taken in July, and the necessary payment will be processed to you. We have notified the practices affected.

Summary: LMC levy deductions for your practice were not collected in June. This will be rectified on your next month's contractual payment and deductions will be taken for June, alongside the normal July deductions. 

 

Commissioners self-serve functionality for contract variation schedules

Summary: We are currently working to fix a technical issue with the contract variation schedule self-serve function on the system. To ensure you are not impacted by missed or potentially duplicate payments, PCSE will continue to process payment schedules for July. 

 

Unverified GPPP user registration requests

Summary: We are unable to action your request for changes to be made to the nominated GP Payments and Pensions (GPPP) user administrators, as we do not have you listed as a verified financial contact at your practice. This level of verification is an important part of the access process, as the GPPP services involve sensitive financial information.
