Is there an audit trail on PCSE Online of all the previous forms submitted via PCSE Online?
Find your form by logging into PCSE Online:
- For Type 1: Click 'Listing Screen’ to see all current and previous forms
- For Type 2: Click ‘NHS Pension Scheme Annual Income listing’ to see all current and previous forms
- Sort by Financial Year so the most recent appears at the top.
How far back can you go on PCSE online to view previous year forms on the Listings screen?
On PCSE Online, you’ll only see forms from 2015/16 onwards. These are the years that were migrated from the legacy NHAIS system.
For earlier years, you can view your contribution history in the NHS Pensions system.
I saved my Type 1/Type 2 submission to finish later and now I can't locate it.
To find a Type 1 or Type 2 submission you have saved for later, here’s what to do:
- Click the Listings Screen button to find the form that is in draft status
- Click the blue link in the Form ID column to open the draft
- Complete all necessary fields and submit the form.
What do the statuses mean on the listings screen?
- Draft – You’ve started your form and saved it for later
- Pending – Your accountant or adviser has completed the form for you, and it’s waiting for you to approve and submit
- Declarated – You’ve confirmed the form is correct and submitted it to PCSE for processing
- Approved – PCSE has approved your form. Your contributions will be updated on your NHS Pensions record (as long as there are no missing years)
- Rejected – PCSE has rejected your form. You’ll need to correct and resubmit it
- Resubmitted – You’ve made corrections and sent the form back to PCSE for checking and processing.
PCSE Online shows some previous years as initiated, I know these are not completed, how can I submit these years?
If you see any years marked as ‘initiated’ on the Type 1 or Type 2 screen, here’s what to do:
- Click the Listings Screen button to find the forms that are in a draft status
- Click the blue link in the Form ID column to open the draft
- Complete all necessary fields and submit the form.
How do you change previous years submissions in PCSE Online if it has been approved?
You can easily resubmit an approved form through PCSE Online.

Do we get confirmation the form has been successfully submitted via PCSE Online?
Once you have submitted your form for processing on PCSE Online, its status will show as 'declarated' on the Type 2 Listings screen.
