What happens next

The guide below outlines what happens during the application process.

Important information about inclusion to the Performers List:

Once your application to the Performers List has been approved by NHS England, your inclusion letter will be available immediately to download from PCSE Online.

Once you have been included on the Ophthalmic Performers List, you should enter your GOC number (starting with ’01-‘) in the ‘Performers number’ box in the Performer Declaration section of GOS claims that you complete.

Ophthalmic Medical Performers should enter their GMC number.

Please note the historic Performer List number format that was based on Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) e.g. OPL/01-99999/5D7  is no longer in use, so the only number you need is your GOC (or GMC) number.
