Patient Allocations

Patient allocations are for patients who have been refused registration by practices or have been unable to find a GP practice to accept them as patients.

Your local Integrated Care Board (ICB) can assign you to a GP Practice. Please see here to find out who your local ICB is:

What is the process?

• If your ICB agrees to allocate you, they will identify a practice who have the capacity to register you as a patient.
• They will formally allocate you to that practice and inform the practice that they should register you.
• They will also notify PCSE, who will send you a letter confirming the date of your registration
