Manage Locum cover

Overview

PCSE Online allows practices to oversee all relevant locum processes, from submitting the initial locum cover request to approving a Locum's A form for their pension contributions. 

Request Locum Cover Approval

You can now manage your locum cover requests and claims on PCSE Online*.

Locum cover approval can be requested via the new system. Any pre-approved locum cover claims can then also be easily submitted via PCSE Online

Pre-approved Locum Cover claims can be made from the first date of the approved period.

You will be notified when approvals are made by your ICB, and then payment will be included in the next payment run.

*Please note: check with your ICB when they are ready to start accepting locum cover requests via PCSE Online.

Approving Locum A forms 

All Locum GPs are able to submit their Locum A & B forms via PCSE Online.

This means Practices are now required to approve Locum A forms submitted via PCSE Online. This provides a more streamlined service for all.

Please note: the ability to approve Locum A forms on PCSE Online needs to be assigned to the relevant Practice colleagues by the Practice User Administrator for GP Payments and Pensions services .
